Digital economies are quickly changing the way people transfer and store value online. One alternative is the crypto-currency Dogecoin, which was co-founded by the gamer and coder Jackson Palmer, who by day works as an online marketer and brand builder for Adobe. Palmer will talk about the recent and rapid proliferation of online and crypto-currencies, the role of branding and social media in their adoption, and some of the potential implications they may have on the internet experience of ordinary users in the near future.
